Now It's Our Turn
Present Day
Corwood has always been built on grit, heart, and service.
But time leaves its mark.
Cabins need repair.
Structures need reinforcement.
Infrastructure needs updating.
Land stewardship requires ongoing investment.
Without immediate restoration, we risk losing not just buildings, but a living legacy that has shaped generations of leaders.
This is not cosmetic. It is structural. It is urgent.
If funded fully, Corwood will:
• Restore cabins and gathering spaces
• Update and modernize the Mess Hall and Kitchen
• Improve safety, accessibility, and infrastructure
• Create sustainable land stewardship practices
• Establish long-term operational stability
But beyond repairs…We envision a place where:
Athletes build character.
Organizational leaders reconnect to purpose.
Young people tap into who they are capable of becoming.
This land deserves another 90 years.
A Clear Plan Forward
We are approaching restoration in intentional phases:
Q2 2026
Structural assessment, tree removal, + priority repairs begin
Q3/Q4 2026
Cabin restoration + safety upgrades
2027
Infrastructure improvements + accessibility upgrades
2028
Long-term sustainability planning + endowment foundation
For nearly a century, Corwood has shaped young people into courageous leaders, steady teammates, and principled humans.
Now the land, and the legacy, need our support. Choose Your Impact
Supports structural restoration and major infrastructure upgrades.
Helps preserve experiential programming elements.
Contributes directly to land preservation and operational needs.
Corwood has always been sustained by people who showed up.
If you’re not in a position to give financially, we invite you to give your time, your skills, and your energy. Restoration is not just about funding, it’s about community stewardship.
Whether you can swing a hammer, paint a cabin, repair a dock, clear brush, offer professional services, or simply show up ready to help, there is a place here for you.
Cabin repairs, painting, structural updates, dock restoration, ropes course work.
Trail clearing, brush removal, tree maintenance, shoreline cleanup.
Contractors, electricians, plumbers, architects, engineers, safety inspectors.
Fundraising events, alumni outreach, donor relations, celebration planning.
Corwood once thrived as a self-sustaining camp. But decades ago, rising operational costs surpassed revenue. The math no longer worked, even though the mission did.
Today, we are rebuilding with wisdom and transparency.
Your donations directly support:
Cabins, docks, gathering spaces, and experiential elements need repair to meet modern safety standards.
Insurance, liability coverage, and regulatory compliance are significant — and necessary — investments. They protect participants and ensure long-term sustainability.
This land has shaped generations of leaders.
Without intentional investment, that legacy fades.
We are not reopening casually.
We are reopening responsibly.
A few times each year, we’ll host Mix & Fix Weekends community-powered restoration events where alumni, families, local organizations, and volunteers come together to repair, rebuild, and reconnect.
This isn’t just maintenance. It’s stewardship.
Whether you’re handy with tools or simply willing to show up and learn, there is meaningful work to be done.

Many schools and athletic programs require community service hours.
Why not complete them in a place that builds leadership at the same time?
Participants will receive documented service hours and experience meaningful, hands-on contribution to a historic leadership camp.
Service here isn’t busy work. It’s impact.
